The Morden Community Association seeks to bring together a diversity of voices to make decisions on the behalf of the community’s interests. Opportunities for appointment to the Board are open and without limitation on membership. The current Board sits at 7 members. Appointments to the MCA typically happen during Annual General Meetings. In some special cases, appointment may happen throughout the year.
Board Membership is open to permanent and seasonal residents of Morden area, as dictated:
The Community of Morden residing in Kings County, Nova Scotia, Canada is a community defined as an area South of the Community Hall to route 221, on the Morden Road, East on McNally Road to Victoria Road, West on McNally Road to Clairmont Road, and following the French Cross Road to Kirk’s Brook. The Community affairs and recreational facilities are administer by The Morden Community Association. The Association is elected by a majority vote of members of our community consisting of seven members on a Board of Directors.
