ABOUT THE MORDEN COMMUNITY HALL
The Morden Community Hall is located at 2321 Morden Road, in the Village of Morden. Capable of hosting 120 people (96 people seated).
SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE HALL
The Morden Community Hall boasts modern facilities with a fully equipped kitchen and dining space. Whether your function is large or small, the Morden Community Centre is an excellent choice. From dances, dinners, weddings and birthday parties to workshops, seminars, club functions or group events the Community Centre can handle them all.
- Chairs, tables, tablecloths and linens for food service
- Silverware, plates, mug and glasses
- Cooking utensils, pots, pans, cooktop griddle and small appliances
- Full refrigeration capabilities and food preparation space
- Three ovens with cooktops, range hood
- Commercial dishwasher
- Full coffee and tea station
PLEASE NOTE:
- Proper Foodsafe Protocols must be practiced, and at least one person with a Foodhandlers Certificate must be on site if food is being prepared in the kitchen space.
- Liquor licences must be obtained to have alcohol on site.
Rental fees range from $50 to $100 plus a security deposit.
HALL ACCESSIBILITY
The Morden Community Hall has an accessible ramp located at the South-East corner, for those needing access with mobility devices.
Please note, there is a ledge upon the threshold that needs to be traversed with care.
There are semi-Accessible washroom facilities (3 stalls, plus a “barrier-free” stall).
Regretfully, the kitchen space is not fully Accessible at this time.
Currently, improvements are being designed with Accessibility Professionals to be able to improve the maneuverability of the Hall.
