Morden – Comfort Centre

The Morden Community Hall is now a Nova Scotia Comfort Centre.

When the power goes out the Community Hall will open to serve as a warm space for gathering. The Hall will provide coffee and tea, running water, electricity for charging devices, an internet connection, as well as washroom facilities. It will be open during daytime hours, and will not provide overnight services.

For those with access to internet during outages, notifications may be provided via Morden Facebook Groups – however, there is also signage at the Hall indicating that the Comfort Station will be open for service. It is encouraged that those seeking services drive by the Morden Hall to see that it is open.
